Our Process
What to expect
Our Simple, Supportive Care Process
Scheduling your first visit
Getting started is easy. When you call, text, or email to schedule your new patient appointment, our friendly front desk team will help answer your questions and make sure you feel prepared. We’ll also guide you through any online paperwork so your visit is smooth and efficient.
Your first appointment is a two-part visit and typically takes about 45–60 minutes total.

Welcome & initial assessment
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our team and given a quick tour of the office so you feel relaxed and at home. We’ll take time to get to know you, your health history, and what brought you in.
Our doctors then gather the information they need to fully understand how your body is functioning. All testing is done onsite and may include nervous system scans and X-rays, when appropriate. These tools help us see what’s happening beneath the surface and guide your care safely and accurately.
Review of findings & personalized care plan
Next, you’ll meet with one of our chiropractors in a comfortable consultation room. They’ll walk you through your results in clear, easy-to-understand language and explain how your findings relate to your symptoms and goals.
From there, we create a personalized care plan designed specifically for you. If appropriate, your care will begin with your first chiropractic adjustment during this visit.

Ongoing care & progress checks
Follow-up visits are quick and efficient, usually around 10 minutes. During these appointments, your chiropractor will check your progress, make any needed adjustments, and answer questions along the way.
Whether you’re focused on corrective care or long-term wellness, our goal is to help your body function better and keep you moving forward with confidence.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get adjusted at my first visit?
Can my whole family get checked out together?
Do you take insurance?
We do not accept insurance, but there are good reasons why! The landscape of health insurance has changed drastically over the past 5+ years and it is usually patients who are left out in the cold when insurance is accepted. Chiropractic care (along with some therapies, imaging, lab services, dental/vision, etc.) is considered an ancillary service. Therefore, co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles, and so on are higher than the already high insurance costs. And since insurance sets the reimbursement rates, you are left with some hefty out-of-pocket costs. Also, care is based on medical necessity which is an ever-changing and arbitrary target, meaning your care can be denied at any point … Even after you have had the service!
That is why at Strive we chose not to play that game. By cutting out that obnoxious middle man, we are able to keep costs low, never have to deal with denial of care for you, keep your needs first, and provide options for care in our office! Plus, you can still use your FLEX or HSA card!
